La Croix Gardianne des Saintes-Maries-De-La-Mer

This symbol is coming from the South of France. The area of my birth and childhood. 

It is not a very old symbol as it's been created by the sculptor Hermann and the blacksmith Barbanson in 1937 after the  ordering by Marquis de Baroncelli.

It is the re-union of three important symbols for the Christians:

Faith,

Charity,

and Hope.

But with the tridents added at the end of the christian cross, the meaning in the South of France is also that this cross is the link and union between the men of the sea and the men of the earth (fishermen and farmers).

Matthias came from Stuttgart to Paris for this project.
