Hey! Last night with Chris Hamilton, we went to a nice isolated house in the suburb of Brighton. It is the headquarter of Parliament of feathers, a hand pulled screen printing company. We spent the night over here and made a A3 print for his new band DEATH RATTLE...There are only 40 something copies. yesterday Sascha from Munchen, Bavaria, Germany, came to me in London to do an armpiece.
He is a jazz pianist and you can hear (and try to learn german at the same time) on through his musical project HERE!
It was a cool moment as I work at THE supercool address in town. The shop is called NO LIMIT, Marie and Ghis are brother & sister and it is in Bacon street, on the corner of Brick Lane in East London.

It means lots of fun and Guinness!

Isa und Dominik aus Deutschland

I tattooed Dominik 8 years ago in Germany in Dieburg at Tentakel Ink. I did a big flower on his ribs and a few month later he used the picture of this tattoo for his profile photo on a dating site for single people. Then Isa came to him and a few years later they married together. They asked me to get tattooed together to celebrate their union. Here it is! Congratulations young lovers!

Bon cette fois-ci on se la fait en français: Laetitia, m a envoyé des photos de GIVORS. Somptueuse ville du sud-est de la France ou je suis né et ou j ai grandi, et surtout d'où vient quasiment toute ma famille.

Mais alors là, incroyable, elle m envoie LA photo de l' immeuble ou habitaient mes grand-parents, aux Vernes, l' immeuble où j ai passé mon enfance. et sur l' autre photo, on voit le petit terrain de foot qu' ils ont construit depuis. Nous, on dévalait la côte en sacs poubelles quand il y avait de la neige...Mais QUI lui a donné ces infos la?!?!??!!?!?!???!?!!?!??!??!?!!?Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ben came for a old school pin up portrait and to remember the death of his cat... It was also great to meet him again as he was one of my first customer!!! I tattooed him at home 13 years ago on his back, and I did a drawing of Jean-Paul Follain. This uncredible artist was our official illustrator for our band Portobello Bones. He has done many cd/lp/ep sleeves and a few posters and flyers...

Lost and Found: 7079 tattoo machines

Once upon a time, on 2008, i was travelling to New Zealand and i stayed in the south island in Chrsitchurch. This was a very great time as i was working with Naith Morrow at Absolution.

He is a fantastic guy and his wife Heidi is so friendly!

During this stay, I met Marv Lerning who came with his wife Kathy for having a tattoo done by me.

Then we startedt to talk and as a gift, he offered me an uncredible tattoo machine he had made for me.

Just amazingly well done and detailed. UNIQUE.

And naturally, as he is, he proposed me to come to the north island of New Zealand, in Auckland, to visit him. A collaboration was born, and i already was thinking how to draw a special frame for a prototype we could do during my stay.

The idea to have my own equipement, designed by me, and done by one of the most talented guy on this planet was just crazy.

With Naith, we decided to go and visit him altogether, and 7079 tattoo machines was born!

life is so simple sometimes...

We ve made 3 different machines: one liner as a bird called "Flying Nais" / one shader as a man dancing called "Samuel" and one liner on 18K gold (sick!!!) called "Zoe".

The series were ultra limited, sold only to the finest tattoo artists.

A few months later, I started another serie, a kind of amazing hybrid carbon machine with Dennis the invisible man from Germany. This guy is also well known for being a strong technician, really into details and the builder of super solids machines. Our machine was able to do any kind of strong colouring/ shader/ and liner and thisone was called "Aina".

But on february 2010, we discovered one of our machine copied on Ebay China. It's been like a blast, i was hurt, all the work spent to be copied by some assholes, and done as shit was too much for me...

I stopped the project the same day. We were doing this for tattoo artists, not for any kind of business, just for some closed friends, that's it.

There is a myspace page, since that time, I've lost the passwords.

This was the story.

Dear you,

2011 has been an AMAZING year...Really. It is the last day, so it's time to sum up some of the things that happened:

First of all, i would really like to thank you all of you, individually that are following this blog.
It is unbelievable to see that you are nearly a thousand different people from all around the world everydays to visit those pages.
Then i would like to send all my thoughts to you, my customers, that make my life a wonderful adventure, full of gifts, full of new directions to explore, full of people with so much love to give.
I know who you are, you know it too.

2011 has been a very great year to travel in so many places: France, England, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Sweden, Singapour, Borneo, Indonesia, Arctic in the far North, Malaysia, the border of Brunei and Czech Republic. A big thank you to all the people that helped me during those trips to share their life with me.

2011 has been a year with some very cool books that show my work:
"tattooisme", one of the best sale in France about tattoo books.
"Art Corpus family", the book with 700 pages. A must.

2011 has been a very intense year concerning the music process for me also:
A new production of GRANIT 665 has been done with Stephanie Cabdevila as a singer.
And with her too, we've started COPENHAGEN our new 2 pieces act.
The first release is out on Eek recordings, and we are working on a full album for next year.

2011 has been the year of new graphic projects. Many things are planned, i Hope to be able to give you infos soon concerning the releases of new limited prints, book(s) as an illustrator, new music, and last but not least, new tattoos on 2012!!!

And here are again the dates of my guest working places in France, Germany and England for 2012. Some conventions and exhibitions dates and cities have to be added, i will update that right in time.
